El Maximo Ranch has been under the stewardship of the Latt Maxcy Corporation and the Wilson Family for seven decades. Located in Central Florida, this 38,453± acre property is one of the largest contiguous ranches in the Southeast.
Private roads throughout the property provide access to the homesteads, cow pens, airfield, and other building sites. The property features a ranch compound that includes the original homestead along with nine labor homes, a 5,000 foot airstrip, numerous storage barns, pole sheds, and working pens to support the 7,000+ head carrying capacity. There is also a modern and luxuriously appointed 3,900+ square foot hunting lodge with amenities and sleeping accommodations for up to 15.
The ranch has excellent water rights with an annual allocation of more than 17 billion gallons and has the potential to convert approximately 23,000 acres into crop production suitable for citrus, potatoes, melons, and other produce.
The property is located in Osceola County, Florida, along the Kissimmee River with over 11 miles of frontage on State Route 60. By land, the Ranch has access to both coasts via SR-60, as well as the State’s major north/south corridors (Florida Turnpike, I-95 to the east, and I-75 to the west).
By air, private aircraft can access the Ranch from the Lake Wales Municipal Airport, Vero Beach Municipal Airport, or Bartow Municipal Airport, all located 30 – 40 miles from the property. There is also an unpaved airstrip and a 20’ helipad on the Ranch itself.
