The Flatwoods property is located in the Gerber Groves subdivision, which is a 6,400 acre water control district that was developed in the early 1960s. Historically, the Gerber Groves subdivision was predominately planted to citrus, however in recent years there have been a significant number of acres converted to row crop farmland.
